Theology - the study of God or, more generally, the study of religious faith, practice, and experience, or of spirituality.
Apology - a defense, excuse, or justification in speech or writing, as for a cause or doctrine
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He exists from the foundation of time and even before, the Bible makes that genuinely plain.
God created all, He purposed all, and without need of further explanation He succinctly proclaimed
“Yes, I am the Lord, that is my name” “You shall have no others god before Me.”
I am that I am” The Holy of Holies. Perfection without any possibility of fallacy.
From the breath of His nostrils He formed man in His image, and gave him dominion over His creation earth.
He set the solar systems in each universe to thrive in the midst of an ordered chaos.
He knows the beginning before the end and reigns in victory over Satan, the world’s enemy.
Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Rapha are names we’ve given Him descriptively.
God is Alpha. God is Omega, the Father of all spirits divine.
He knows the end of it all before its start, and He steps across all parallels of time.
He is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, He exists as the triumphant Trinity
He is the Almighty Father above us, the Son before us and the Holy Ghost within; our three-in-one Deity.
He searches the truth in the depths of all men’s hearts so that man may know Him and be saved.
No respecter of person, the calls goes out to all, He desires that no man fear the grave.
God in His mercy and soul saving grace imputes wisdom to any who asks in His will
From the dawn of creation to the end of time, His glory, precept upon precept, revealed.
He is The Uncreated. He makes us complete. He who sits on a throne of mercy and grace.
The One who is the source of true Love, Our Redeemer, and the Author and Finisher of our Faith.
He is our Father, He is our Mother, our Brother and sister, He is our Provider and He calls us “Friend”
A God who blesses, a God who rebukes, a God who provides escape from the wages of Sin.
Should I doubt where my destiny lies or despair if I should succumb to the devil’s snares?
No, I should never doubt that God is God of ultimate love and forgiveness and that for me He always cares
I shall never doubt that God’s plan is fixed and no created being can ever thwart it
No known or unknown science man can conceived can breach the depths of God’s supreme knowledge.
Should I believe in theories of evolution or what’s better known in textbooks as the “Big Bang”?
When honestly such notions of creation are so feeble that they cannot by me, be sanctioned
No I rather trust in an Intelligent Design that set it all in motion with a purpose all His own.
I believe God works out all things together for good and that heaven is my eternal home.
Woman, hear this, know that you are divine.
A precious gem, a rare and unique find
You are that quintessential being
Possessing an excellence of mind
You are exquisite, worthy to be adored
Radiating love and virtue from each and every pore
Anyone who chances to meet you
Could not want for mere mortal eyes to rest upon more
Know that your beauty transcends all parallels of time
Austere stylings, yet revered and so refined
To look upon such as you, dear one
Is to understand why the moon and stars compete to shine
Incandescent wonder, luminescent splendor bright
Queens and divas and other earthborn angels pale in the essence of your light
The extent of your magnificence only mirrored in your humility
God in His infinite wisdom made you thus, as iridescent candlelight
Neither a rhapsody of music, nor a majestic mountain peak
Nor fields of perfumed lilies ever were as sweet
A purity of thought amid an abundance of revelations
This all culminates in you, a being ever so replete
He hath charged his angels to watch o’er your daily walk and path
Anything you want or need you have but Him to ask
You as mother, daughter, sister in all your blessed states of being
The world remains in awe of you and in all your divineness basks
Oh divine art thou woman, Rise now and take your bow!
{{Jeremiah 10:19 says, "Woe is me for my hurt! My wound is grievous: but I said, Truly, this is a grief, and I must bear it."}}
W.O.E. Women of Excellence
We are the Women of Excellence, born with a heavenly charge
We are wells of hope and encouragement, to the lost, the hurt and unloved
We were wounded, but enlightened now, for our wounds have set us free
We seek wisdom in its essence, and liberation from all tyranny
Our hearts are sympathetic to cause so long obscured
Our ways unapologetic, for we fight with our hands and our swords
Only God will lead us, only God shall know our fate
Our destiny is before us, as we pledge this stand to take
Every weapon formed against us, every fiery dart they hurl
Every word of discouragement aimed at us when we were just little girls
Each lie and misconception, though they wounded us to the core
Evokes our will to be acknowledged, saying, "We won`t take this anymore!"
WOMEN OF EXCELLENCE are then women, by their strength and by their right
Who have suffered some hurt and pain through a long and lonely night
Women who`ve been challenged and now proudly accept the wailing call
Women on a God-led mission to change this world for us all.
"Woe unto the man who backs a WOE against the wall!!"
Along with your faith one must master a degree of contentment according to the scriptures, that comes by knowing who we are in Christ.
When I finally realized the world doesn't care
If my small fortune is won or loss
The notion of a life pointless or wasted
Could not now my convictions toss
(Knowing well whose child I am, I put no faith in mere mortal man, At last I know the greater plan, Is contentment in the me I am.)
When sheer loneliness encompasses me
Leaves me feeling mortally incomplete
There is this deeper, greater rejoicing
That keeps me unwavering on my feet
(Knowing well whose child I am, I put no faith in mere mortal man, At last I know the greater plan, Is contentment in the me I am.)
When the thought of me not yet doing
All in life that one could do
Or accomplishing some awesome task
Before my time on earth is through
(Knowing well whose child I am, I put no faith in mere mortal man, At last I know the greater plan, Is contentment in the me I am.)
People who think they know me
Will probably say they thought me kind
I hope more so that they see me
As one who's found God's peace of mind
(Knowing well whose child I am, I put no faith in mere mortal man, At last I know the greater plan, Is contentment in the me I am.)
So if you hear this message clearly
And your soul to save you pray our Lord
My plea is that "Ye First Seek God's Kingdom"
And contentment too will be your reward.
(Knowing well whose child I am, I put no faith in mere mortal man, At last I know the greater plan, Is contentment in the me I am.)
An anthem for Christian believers! Awake my BROTHER, Awake!
No time for sleeping at the gate
No more watching as morality passes
And passion of life dissipates
No more I say, AWAKE!
Awake my SISTER, Awake!
A purpose that only you may undertake
In the circle of life, we must participate
Given the power to procreate
We must be true to ourselves, AWAKE!
Look yonder as the sun comes up
Upon this fresh new morn!
Our rest was but a little while
‘Tis time to face the dawn!
AWAKE! and be the man or woman
For each our calling born!
Let not your weary bodies bound you
Let not slumber’s comfort delude
Rise and feel the JOY of UNITY again,
You’ve paid your debt of anguished solitude
JOIN HIS fellowship on this fresh new plane
RISE and be RENEWED!
Your mantle and your shield do take
But arm yourself in HIS breastplate
Prepare yourself now don’t hesitate
Yes, the tasks set before us on our contentment grates
But as we are unyielding to our various mind states
God will lead us, let’s let Him guide
Hear Him calling now, ARISE!
Stand and be counted among the few
Doing what GOD has planned for you
Shake the dew from whence you slumbered
Yes, YOU were born to be in that number!
Let not folly, doubt or wonder turn you round
Mark this spot where your feet touched ground
This is the DAY you’re HEAVEN BOUND!
AWAKE, I say, AWAKE!
Look to your faith in God as refuge against the trials of life...
In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me. Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may
continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art
my rock and my fortress. Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the
wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man. For thou art my
hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth. Psalms 71:1-5 KJV
My Rock
Heavy burdened, guilt laden, I walked a steep path down
With an anguished heart I walked with my countenance in a frown
The path led me to a clearing where a river gently streamed
‘Twas a beauty to this river a place of refuge so it seemed
I fell asleep upon a slate smooth rock facing that peaceful shore
Content I was to sleep upon this rock with the riverbed its floor
But there arose a mighty wind, that lo, did speed the current
But fast asleep I remained the climate no deterrent
Madly flowing became the river’s stream, heavy was the pitch and dash
Against the rock I slept upon, senseless waters they did break and crash
It tore away the slated rock from it’s blissful base of rest
The rock that I was asleep upon was now upon the crest
With the wind to push her journey and a jagged edge to guide
A precarious situation, yet my destiny to ride
In a vengeful river now, my dreams a comfort place
The rock fought against the river, and we continued on our race
The course was as a tempest rages, the billows would not relent
Thwarted was the river to spill my rock, though there were many the attempt
My rock had carried me against the onslaught of an malevolent angry sea
Unto a place serene where all my earthly cares are now away from me
Now my Rock is my Gibraltar, my Rock is my best friend
My Rock has rolled me gently to a safe harbor in the glen
I awaken with new hope for life, and an understanding peace within..
Good thing God allows backsliders back into the fold. No matter how far we slip and fall, all it takes is a "get up" to "get on" with your life. See now I’ve gone and done it, I’ve done gone a bit too far
Slipped too many cookies from my momma’s cookie jar
I’ve gone and got myself labeled as a gal who’ll late night creep
Cut too many corners in my pursuit of happiness and got in way too deep
Ya’ll knew it was gonna happen, much sooner than t’was late
No one dared to stop me, no one said “Hey, girl, wait!”
U saw me headed down that path, Y didn’t U holla “No!”??
Let me follow Destiny cause I said I had to go?
Now here I am all caught up in a spiral going down
Lost it all, in a fall, sprawled completely on the ground
A mess laid out before U, with my soiled dress up in the air
Didn’t I see ya smilin’ as U walked on by without a care?
Didnt I see ya laugh at me, pointing out ya finger?
Yeah, U’re the one, I know U are, who actually gawked as U lingered
Now whatchagonna do? Leave me lying in this garbage heap?
Are U gonna give me a helpin’ hand or leave me in the street?
I’m so bruised and badly battered, I’ve taken some hard licks
My hope’s ‘bout gone, my faith too, and my Timex it don’t tick
Are U just gonna stand there watchin’ as I struggle to my knees?
Would U be so mean and hateful as to torture, taunt and tease?
My heart is still a’beatin’, I’m alive, tho’ there’s so lit’l to me left
I wasted all my natural talents and I flunked the economics test
I’m lookin’ for that Good Samarian, who walks life’s battered row
Watchin’ for us lost souls, who down this path dared to go
One who keeps a late-night vigil, with a beacon shinin’ bright
Givin’ aid to all who trip and fall on this expressway without light
Do I see him comin’ now? “Lord, yes, let it be true!”
I see him in the distance ridin’ fast to my rescue!
“Thank you! Precious Jesus!” “U tempters get on out my way!”
If the devil get’s his due, it won’t be My soul he get’s today.
I’m reachin’ up my dirtied hand and I’m shoutin’ loud “Lord, Here I am!”
I’m not studin’ ‘bout U mockin’ me, I’ve got a greater plan
When that sweet chariot slows a beat, and that ragin’ Jordan gets a bit mo’ steady
You won’t find me down and out, I’m gettin’ my soul ready!
HIS WORD is like the calmest ocean current slowly swelling to a mighty tide
Removing the purulence that languished behind any of our false sense of pride
HIS WORD is a swift river flowing when it rushes towards the sea
I feel at times as a fallen leaf upon its crest though caught up in its awesome majesty
HIS WORD is a healing balm that soothes all aches and pains
Moving mountains of my doubt and indecision away as cleansing as the stormy springtime rains
HIS WORD lifts my feet from the mire and clay and sets them on solid ground
Gives hope back to the hopeless and there we discover new life can be found
HIS WORD feeds the hungry, clothes and provides shelter to the lost
It is the Promise He’s made to us his children, because His son Jesus paid the cost
HIS WORD is power to walk righteously and instruction for daily living
Teaches love is the most precious gift of all, returns to us tenfold by our sincere love giving
HIS WORD compels Satan and his demons to flee even on a babe in Christ’s command
As the mightiest sword and shield any one can own, against any enemy we all have power to stand
HIS WORD increases our faith, so we can see those thing that be not as though they were
From the spirit realm manifested here we claim the gifts that God has long ago for us stored
HIS WORD answers questions asked in our youth, as He reveals to us His great plan
Tells me even in our sinfulness He still loves us, for the course of our lives were predestined by Him
HIS WORD planted in our hearts so like a fruit tree in its season grows and bears sweet fruit
It would never return to Him void, after He’s sent the appropriate nourishment needed for its roots
HIS WORD holds us to His bosom, close so you can whisper your cares in His ear
Like a father loves His child, He is ever watchful, ever near
HIS WORD covers us from head to toe, we are anointed by His grace
In all our varied walks of life, in every battle we are compelled to first seek His face
HIS WORD is our strong tower, over which nothing of this world can climb
As we walk in valley’s of darkness here on earth, no fear arrests our minds
HIS WORD is the fortress all around us, protecting us even from the very sting of death
By His spirit in us we are made righteous and in His love we find our place of rest.
Hebrews Chapter 11 says
“Faith is the substance of things hoped for
The evidence of things not seen”.
The assured confidence that what is not, will be.
It really is no mystery
How water flowed abundantly in places no water should be
How the heavens opened and manna fell free
How two loaves and three fish did a multitude feed
How the lame did walk and the blind did see
How every animal on earth serves a purpose big and small
How a simple faith-filled man built a vessel that carried them all
How marching and praising about it caused a city’s walls to fall
How one man survived in the belly of a fish for not heeding the call.
How giants fell dead at the hands of a much smaller enemy.
How the children of Israel walked on dry land crossing the sea.
How in a fiery furnace blazing hot untouched and unharmed were three
How one man in the lion’s den faith set him free
All by God’s omnipotent ability.
By Faith.
To every man is given a measure of faith
With it, if he says to the mountain, be thou removed to sea
Were it the faith even the size of a mustard seed.
Believe in God... so it shall be.
Man’s faith is thus believing in God’s ability.
It’s a two-way plan.
Man Faith in God delivers God’s Faith to Man.
That what God says will be
So it shall be
God works miracles through the likes of you and me
If you can conceive it, believe it, you can achieve it.
By Faith.
